Jenoris Caba is a 24 year old Afrolatinx writer and photographer from New Jersey who specializes in narrative work on existing through and surviving the everyday. As a photographer she is drawn to the commonplace, the facets of life that are accessible and unglamorous, particularly as they pertain to the experiences of people of color in the West. It is in these spaces that she finds closeness to the people she photographs and the world at large. She does not have a set or signature aesthetic to her work. Instead, each photo or set is created to elicit moods that best match the artist's feelings while photographing. As a writer, she addresses the universal hassle of existing and how difficult it is answers, poring over the impossibility of living in absolutes and hoping she can provide some comfort to her readers in the process. She is currently a staff photographer at La Liga Zine. Her ultimate goal is to be able to provide an honest depiction of navigating human living and ultimately all life beyond the same.
